Somewhere between the sheet music
and the strange new sounds, there’s a little magic.

01 THE PERSON BEHIND THE PIANO

A classical beginning.
An open-ended middle.

(and what a middle)
Pianist's hands moving over the keys during a performance ✳ LEARN THE RULES. THEN LISTEN CLOSER.

I started studying music at six. I’m an opera singer and pianist, and no matter where life has taken me, music is still the thing I come back to.

I earned a BA in Music at UC Santa Cruz and an MM at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music. After that, I took an unexpected turn into the tech world, working at Apple and later Pixar Animation Studios.

I never imagined I’d partner with AI to create music. Now I’m bringing my experience as a singer and pianist into that unexpected collaboration—playing, listening, experimenting, and following the musical ideas that surprise me. The tools may be new; the focus is still the music.

A curious detour, with music at the center.
